This 3-day CME course will consist of didactic sessions and hands-on micro-dissection of
fresh-frozen cadavers focusing on minimally invasive keyhole surgical approaches
including the endonasal, supraorbital and retromastoid routes. Topics will include
sinonasal anatomy and imaging, endonasal surgery to the parasellar area by both the
fully endoscopic approach and endoscope-assisted approaches. Related topics will
include expanded endonasal approaches to the suprasellar and frontal fossa regions,
cavernous sinus and clivus. The indications and execution of the supraorbital “eyebrow”
craniotomy for frontal fossa and parasellar lesions and the retromastoid approach for
cerebello-pontine and petro-clival pathology will also be presented. Additional topics in
keyhole surgery will include instrumentation requirements, CSF leak repair techniques,
